Resident Socials

Applicants who are invited for an interview will be scheduled through Thalamus to attend one of our virtual resident socials, which will be held on either Thursday or Sunday before their interview date. These socials provide an opportunity to meet current residents, learn about life in Utah, gain insights into our program, and collect useful information.

For the 2025 recruiting season, our virtual resident socials are scheduled for November 14th, December 8th, and December 12th. This is an excellent chance for invited applicants to engage with our current residents.

Institute Wide Trainee-Led Panels

Sponsored by the Office of Academic Culture and Community and Graduate Medical Education, this event is open to applicants of all backgrounds applying to Residency and Fellowship Programs at University of Utah Health. During the events, a panel of trainees will share their experiences of moving to and living in Utah.

This session is optional and will not impact the consideration of your application for the DR Residency Program.

Sponsored by the Office of Academic Culture and Community and Graduate Medical Education, this event is open to applicants of all backgrounds applying to Residency and Fellowship Programs at University of Utah Health. During the event, a panel of faculty members will share their experiences and provide insight into the University of Utah Health and its communities.
